I'm a da again! Sean Callum Wood joined us today!

Spell-o-taped into Journal )

It was terrifying especially after that slip into that alternate universe and exhilarating and oh Merlin I'm just so glad he's finally here! Ollie's been practically bursting with excitement, though he is rather wishing he could play a bit more with Sean already. But that'll happen soon enough!

Kayley, you're the best. We've a bloody brilliant family.

I'm about to be a da again. Not that I haven't been one for the last four years, but knowing my second son is about to be here is terribly exciting. Ollie won't stop marching through the house chanting his little brother's name, and he keeps talking to Kayley's belly about how much he wants to meet him. Every night before he goes to sleep, he kisses her stomach and tells Sean that he can't wait to meet him, and then asks us to read the story Jenny wrote him for Christmas. He likes to pretend that he and Chip are the main characters, and that Sean is the best friend. Needless to say, we're all quite ready for the little bugger to get here.

My family is so much fun.

.:20:. It's New Year's Eve, I'm in Glendora- I'm the only living person in Glendora... [Dec. 31st, 2007|09:35 pm]
Another year come and gone. I almost can't believe it- it's been, overall, a really good year for us.

Ollie's all excited because we have sparklers and fireworks to set off in the backyard, and he keeps begging me to take him up flying. I finally got around to putting up a goalpost in the backyard and he's just dying to play keeper for me- and for a four year old, I have to admit, he's pretty damn good. I think of the hundred or so I've thrown at him in the last two days, he's only missed about five. He loves the new broomstick we got for Christmas, too, mostly because it lets him go higher and faster- we're selling similar ones for each pro team at the shop. They're pretty neat for the little ones.

But anyways. Happy New Year's, everybody. I'll see you in 1984!
